One of the big problems for Linux is that no one knows about it. Most people don't even know that it is an OS and that they can do just about anything they could do on a Windows based PC. Everyone coming into the store has not even heard of Linux. Only geeks know it or use it. That leaves Linux in a tuff spot.

Mac is not a true alternative.
Since PC clones are 90% of the hardware market. Is why Linux is the only real,alternative.
